Newspaper Outline
with
Leading Topics
Your newspaper projects are to be done in editions or volumes. You will generally have a new
edition due for each 6-7 chapters in the novel. The breakdown along with some leading
topics for each edition is listed below. Make sure you have at least 4 articles for each
individual edition, or 7 for a group of  two and 10 for  a group of three. In addition, be sure
to include various other things found in newspapers. Ads, Classifieds, Weather, Features,
Cartoons, Etc.
Keep a consistent design theme and know that presentation and clean edited work is a part of
this grade. Each article written should have the name of the person who authored it.
Reference anything you need to. Try to cover a variety of topics relevant to the novel and
show your command of the information. Make sure you share the information through a
variety of articles: Features, Editorials, Headlines, Interviews etc. Each edition will have a 45
point value.
