| LORD OF THE FLIES EXAM |
| Pick four of the following quotes that you feel you can tie into a common idea and use them to do the following: 1. Explain the significance of each quote. Describe its meaning in relation to the story itself and the impact it had on characters or plot. 2. Attribute each of the four quotes you have chosen to a character in the story. The character does not necessarily have to have said the quote. Whom does the quote most resemble in terms of their character, hopes, dreams, upbringing, or actions? Explain why you made the connection thoroughly and find a quote of your own (from the book) to support your theory. 3. Make a collage on the other side of your explanations or on a separate piece of paper that puts your quotes' ideas into picture form. You can use magazines, printouts, or your own drawings. You can also, if you wish, make them three dimensional. |
